How do you use my data?
- When we decide to reach out to you on the basis of our own internal market research and on the basis of publicly available information about you (eg on LinkedIn) we will collect your name, contact details, job title and the name of the company you represent (as applicable) under our legitimate interest to promote our business until you object.
- When we share your information with companies that sponsor us or our events or otherwise advertise with us we may share your name, job title, contact details and the name of the company you represent (as applicable) under our legitimate interest to create a platform for professionals to network and exchange ideas. Unless you object, our sponsors may contact you and introduce their services to your organisation.
- When you sign up to receive our news updates. We will collect your name and email address to provide you with our news updates in line with any preferences you have told us about. When we send you our news updates because you have opted-in to receive them, we rely on your consent to contact you. You can unsubscribe from our updates at any time by responding to any email you receive from us to tell us you wish to unsubscribe or by clicking on the unsubscribe button.
- When you interact with content on our website such as: blogs/articles, the innovation hub, the startup lounge, the podcasts and the virtual events we host; which require the submission of some information, we will collect the information you submit in order to take steps to enter into a contract with you and allow you to consume the content you request.

Where do you store my data?
We store your data on OneDrive by Microsoft, Inc which are based in the EEA . When working with third parties we may need to transfer your personal data outside of the UK and / or the EU. Whenever we transfer your personal information outside of the UK and the EU, we ensure it receives additional protection as required by law. To keep this policy as short and easy to understand as possible, we haven’t set out the specific circumstances when each of these protection measures are used. How long do you keep my data for?
We will only retain your personal information for as long as we need it unless we are required to keep it for longer to comply with our legal, accounting or regulatory requirements.
If you have paid for any of our services we will keep your order information for up to 6 years after your last order or correspondence with us. If you haven’t paid for any services and we’ve sourced your information in the context of our business development efforts we will keep your information for up to 3 years after your last correspondence with us.
In some circumstances we may carefully anonymise your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you, and we may use this anonymised information indefinitely without notifying you. We use this anonymised information to improve the way we work and our services.
You can always ask us to erase your information and we will always do that as long as we don’t have an obligation to keep it.
